ECA welcomes new Vice-President and five Board of Directors members

Budapest hosted the 17th Ordinary Congress of the European Canoe Association, where delegates elected a new Vice-President and five members of the Board of Directors. The new Vice-President is Moira Aston, and the newly elected members of the Board of Directors are Greg Smale, Stien Verlinden, Vitor Felix, Peter Karai, and Christian Jacobsen.

Provisional timetable – 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships

The 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships will be organised in Ponte de Lima, Portugal, from 2nd to 8th June 2025. The Championships, held in northern Portugal, will not be only dedicated to senior, U23, and junior paddlers, but will also include master competitions and paracanoe demonstration races. The provisional timetable is available on the ECA website.

Budapest to Host the 17th Ordinary Congress of the European Canoe Association

On Saturday, 29th March 2025, Budapest will host the 17th Ordinary Congress of the European Canoe Association (ECA). A congress will be organised with the support of the Hungarian Canoe Federation, the President Gabor Schmidt and his team. Delegates will vote for the Vice President of the association and members of the Board of Directors. Additionally, several presentations will be made regarding the activities conducted over the past two years, as well as the strategic development plans for the coming years.
