Croatian canoe sprinter Antun Novaković confessed it is hard sometimes to find the motivation for trainings without competitions scheduled.

“Sometimes it is hard to find the motivation without competitions. Why am I training, why am I preparing, why am I suffering when you have nowhere to show it. But the most important is that I kept the continuance of training. Now some competitions have been scheduled for later so we will be able to plan the form and rise in the later period. I was on the good path and I hope I will be able to show the form in September,” said Novaković for SBTV.

This year he did his winter trainings in Sabaudia, Turkey and Metković.
