BULLETIN – 2022 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships

BULLETIN – 2022 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships 25.2.2022

The 2022 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships is heading to Czech Republic, more precisely to Česke Budejovice. The championships is scheduled for 9 – 14 August 2022.

Czech organisers are well-known as excellent organisers of major international canoeing events, so the organisation of this year’s Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships was entrusted to them. This will be the first European Championships held in Česke Budejovice, following the successful senor canoe slalom championships already held in Prague and Roudnice.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 9th August, while the first competitions will follow on 11th. This will be the day dedicated to MK1 and WK1 heats and team events (both junior and U23). On 12th August heats and team events in MC1 and WC Junior/U23 will be on the programme. Saturday will bring semifinal and final runs in MK1 and WK1 as well as extreme slalom time trials, while on Sunday the championships will conclude with semifinals and finals in MC1 and WC1 and extreme slalom final phase.
