The 2023 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships will be held in Brandenburg and der Havel, Germany, between 6 and 10 September 2023.
The major European Canoe Polo event of the season 2023 – European Championships – will welcome the best European teams in Germany, more precisely in Brandenburg and der Havel, on the "Beetzsee" regatta course.
The opening ceremony of the championships is scheduled for 6 September and the first matches of the tournament will follow the next day. The U21 age group finals are on the programme on Saturday, while Senior Women’s and Men’s finals will follow on Sunday.
“It was an honour for us, the German Canoe Federation, to be granted the hosting of this Championships by the European Canoe Association and we were pleased that in consultation with the State of Brandenburg we could entrust this event to the capable hands of the Canoe Federation of Brandenburg. I would like to thank the federation's executive committee and all the volunteers who will take care in the remaining preparation time that everything will be perfect for the competition events this weekend on the Beetzsee in Brandenburg,” said Jens Perlwitz, the president of the German Canoe Federation.
