Poland will host the ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships for the fourth time in history. In 1999 the championships was held in Gorzow, in 2003 in Gdansk and in 2009 in Ostroda.

 

The 2024 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Poznan will kick off on 24^th July with an opening ceremony, while the first races will be on a programme a day later, on 25^th July. Athletes will fight for the European Champion titles over four competition days in singles and doubles in junior, U23 and senior age groups. There will be short marathon races as well as classic canoe marathon races. Poznan will also host the Canoe Marathon Paracanoe demonstration event.

 

 

Prior to the official start of the 2024 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships two competition days will be dedicated to master championships. On 22^nd July, there will be master single races on the programme, while on 23^rd July, masters will compete in double boats.
