Val di Sole will turn into European Wildwater Canoeing capital this June as Noce River will host the 15^th edition of the senior ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships. This will be the third Senior Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Italy. In 2001, the Championships was held in Valsesia, and in 2009 in Valtellina. Mezzana, however, is no stranger to organising Wildwater Canoeing competitions. In addition to numerous Italian competitions, Mezzana held World Cup events as well as 1993 World Championships. The third ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in history, in 2000, was also organised in Mezzana.

 

On 4^th June the first competition day is scheduled and the participants of the championships will compete in classic race. A day later, classic team events will follow. Friday will bring Wildwater Sprint Canoeing heats and on Saturday, we will follow individual finals and team events in Wildwater Sprint Canoeing.
