The European Canoe Association is introducing the new competition this year – the ECA Canoe Marathon Club European Cup, where each club enrols at least two female juniors and two female seniors, and two male juniors and two seniors, meaning a minimum of eight athletes shall represent a club. The classes included in the Cup are canoe and kayak single, kayak double and kayak double mixed. All single categories are short and long-distance, while mix and doubles are long-distance.

 

The club can apply for this competition - individually or through their respected National Federation. Each participant’s application (all entries) from the club must be sent to the Chair of the ECA Canoe Marathon Technical Committee and the organising club. Each participating club must pay the entry fee as stated in the invitation. Late entries are not allowed for participation in the Club European Cup, so be careful to respect the deadlines.

 

The 2025 edition of the ECA Canoe Marathon Club European Cup will be held in Rheine an der Ems, Germany, on 5^th and 6^th April. All the details are available in the official invitation.
