Challenging Venue in Spindleruv Mlyn Awaits ECA European Cup Race 18.4.2025

One of the most demanding wildwater canoeing venues will host an ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race this weekend. The event will be especially important for the Czech athletes, as it will also serve as a selection race for the national team ahead of the European Championships.


The third race of this year’s ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series will take place in Spindleruv Mlyn, Czechia. In addition to all the top Czech paddlers fighting for a spot on the national team for the upcoming ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Mezzana this June, competitors from Germany and Great Britain will also be on the start line.
 
Among the registered athletes are many medallists from European and World Championships, as well as future stars of wildwater canoeing, including Ondrej Rolenc, Normen Weber, Marie Nemcova, Klara Vankova, Anna Retkova, Lisa Koestle, Kerry Christie, Matous Beier, Adam Satke, Samuel Vejnar, Jan Sindelar, and others.
 
On Saturday, the Wildwater Sprint Canoeing heats will begin at 9:50, with the finals scheduled for 14:30. The classic race will follow on Sunday.
