Croatian paddlers have welcomed the opening of the new club facilities in Slavonski Brod with open hands. The new centre will be a home of two canoeing clubs – Olimpik and Marsonia.
Croatian sprinters who are among the most successful sportsmen of Slavonski Brod, a city in eastern Croatia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, will have much better training conditions in the future. Competitors of Olimpik and Marsonia canoeing clubs, whose members are also Antun Novaković and Vanesa Tot both with medals from top level international competitions, will enjoy the centre, which is worth over a million Euros.
The centre has two storeys and all together 740 m2 of space. It offers a 120 m2 gym, changing rooms, massage room, boat house as well as facilities for visiting clubs etc.
