The 2025 ECA European Championships season will kick off at the 2024 Olympic Games venue in Vaires-sur-Marne to continue the successful legacy of the course that brought amazing atmosphere of the Olympic canoe slalom competition. The championships will take place between 14th and 18th May 2025.
June will be the busiest month in terms of the 2025 ECA European Championships. The 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships will take the best paddlers of the Old Continent to a very familiar and picturesque location – Portugal’s Ponte de Lima, a town which already hosted Canoe Marathon European Championships in 2017.
In the same week two more ECA European Championships are in the competition calendar for the season 2025. Italy will turn into home of two major European canoeing events. Between 4th and 7th June Spresiano will host the 2025 ECA Dragon Boat Nations and Clubs European Championships, and between 4th and 8th June Mezzana, a popular tourist village in the heart of Italian Alps, will welcome the best paddlers at the 2025 ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships.
Racice, World-renowned canoe sprint venue in Czechia, will be the in the spotlight between 19th and 22nd June when 2025 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships will attract the best European Canoe sprinters fighting for the medals. This venue is no stranger to competitions of the highest level, having hosted both World and European Championships as well as World Cup races.
Early in July, between 3rd and 6th the 2025 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships will be held in Pitesti, Romania, another venue with rich history of organising international canoeing events.
On 30th July the 2025 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships will start in Solkan, Slovenia, and will be held until 3rd August. Beautiful Soča River with its turquoise colour hosted ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships on several occasions, more precisely in the seasons 1999, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2021. Only Krakow so far hosted more Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships.
The season of the 2025 ECA European Championships will conclude in September with the 2025 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships. This tournament will be held between 9th and 14th September in Kalisz, Poland.
