The organisers of the 2022 ECA European Wildwater Sprint Canoeing Cup in Valtellina have been forced to cancel the planned race due to low water level. The race was scheduled for 25^th and 26^th June 2022. Instead, Mezzana will host additional sprint race.

The nature was stronger than the organisers of this year’s ECA European Wildwater Sprint Canoeing Cup in Valtellina. They have been forced to cancel the race due to low water level, however, the athletes will be able to show their form a week later in Mezzana. It has been decided that two sprint ECA cups and classic race will be organised in Mezzana between 1^st and 3^rd July 2022.
