ECA’s delegation with Mrs. Jovana Stanojevic (Event Manager and Canoe Sprint Technical Committee Chair), Mr. Marcos Oliveira (Technical Information Provider), and Mr. Marian Sarbu (ECA Liaison) met with the representatives of the Romanian Canoe Federation, led by President Mr. Ioan Barladeanu.

 

During their meetings they covered the important topics to organise the Championships, such as logistics, infrastructure, accommodation, transportation, and compliance with international competition standards.

 

The representatives of the Romanian federation pointed out they are proud to prepare this prestigious event, which will gather the most promising young athletes from across Europe. Their goal is to make this championships a significant and memorable milestone on the international canoeing calendar. At the same time, they extended the gratitude to the ECA for the continued trust and support.
