ECA Technical Visit in Račice

ECA Technical Visit in Račice 25.4.2025

ECA’s representatives are visiting Račice, Czechia, this weekend in a technical visit before the 2025 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships. The Championships will take place between 19th and 22nd June 2025. The delegation is inspecting the venue and having the meetings to finalise the organisational details.


ECA’s representatives Mrs. Jovana Stanojević (Event Manager and Canoe Sprint Technical Committee Chair) and Mr. Marcos Oliveira (Technical Information Provider) met with the representatives of the organising committee, led by Mr. Pavel Šebesta, a competition manager.
 
During their meetings they are covering the important topics to organise the Championships, such as logistics, infrastructure, technical details, accommodation, transportation, and compliance with international competition standards.
 
The organising team in Račice is working tirelessly to ensure the top level European Championships. This will be the third time Račice will host the senior ECA Championships, following the years 2006 and 2015, while this venue also hosted the 2017 edition of the Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships.
