ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup continues in Germany 8.3.2024

This weekend brings the second race in the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series. Following the first race last week in France, the series now moves to Germany, to Fulda, where the wildwater sprint European Cup will take place this Saturday.

Germany, more precisely Fulda will host the second race in the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup. The race will be a part of the 52nd edition of Fulda Race where organisers expect around 180 athletes from seven countries and 400 starts.

On Saturday, starting at noon, the athletes will compete in sprint on a 400 metres long course, this race will count for the ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup, and on Sunday the classic race will follow in Fulda.

“The anticipation is already very high. We are really super happy that there are many international competitors again. Even the water level is tip top this year. The race course is perfectly cut out. It’s definitely going to be a great competition again,” said Andreas Wehner from KC Fulda for the Osthessen Zeitung.
