Following the Canoe Slalom at the European Games Krakow-Malopolska 2023, the Kolna Sports Centre hosted another major canoe slalom competition of the year. This time it was junior and U23 paddlers who navigated through the gates on the Vistula River and fought for the World Champion titles.
European paddlers once again showed the Old continent is the strongest in this canoeing discipline, winning majority of the available medals. Czechia and France were traditionally the strongest participating nations, with Slovenia, Great Britain, Germany and Italy also taking several medals. Slovakia, Switzerland and Spain were also those European nations that found their place in the medals table.
