European Championships medallists at the podium in France too 7.11.2018

The 2018 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships medallists have been very successful in France at the ninth edition of the Breizch Ocean Race in Locmariaquer to Queberon that was held in October.


European Champion Angie Le Roux from France was unbeatable in women’s race with a time of 1:20:25.69. Her compatriot Lea Caurant, European Championships medallist herself (in SS2 event), finished the race in second place, while Amaia Osaba, European Championships bronze medallist, occupied the third place.
 
In men’s event the win went to South Africa thanks to Sean Rice. German kayaker Gordan Harbrecht, European Championships silver medallist, came in second with 1:10:06.44, while Valentin Henot from France finished the race in third position.
