Puerto Princesa in the Philippines hosted the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships and European teams had a good share of success where Asian teams dominated in the finals. The host nation was on the top of the medals table with a total of 39 medals, Hungary and AIN won 13 each.
Hungary, AIN, Czechia, Poland, Ukraine, Spain, Germany and Sweden were European teams that won medals at the 2024 Dragon Boat World Championships in the Philippines. Hungary concluded the championships with a total of 13 medals, six of them gold, five silver and two bronze medals. AIN also won 13 medals (four gold, two silver and seven bronze medals).
Czechia also had a successful participation and left the Philippines with nine medals in total, three of them gold, two silver and four bronze medals. Poland was eighth on the medals table with three gold medals and one silver and bronze medal. Ukraine had four medals in its account, three golds and one bronze medal, while Spain won one gold and one silver medal.
Germany won altogether seven medals, but this time did not manage to reach the top podium position. Their representatives won five silver medals and two bronze. Sweden concluded the championships with three bronze medals. Among the European nations, Bulgaria and France also had their teams at the start line, but did not manage to win a medal.
