The first major European Canoeing championships of the year will be ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Slovenia. Bovec and Kobarid hosted this competiton already in 2013 and wildwater paddlers will return to Soča River between 14th and 18th May.
The second European Games, whose part is also canoe sprint, will be in Minsk, Belarus. The canoeing part of this sporting event will be held between 25th and 27th June 2019.
Since in the year of European Games there is no Senior Canoe Sprint European Championships, Paracanoeing European Championships will be combined with ICF’s World Cup race in Poznan, Poland, between 24th and 26th May 2019.
Already in the following week best European canoe slalom paddlers will compete in France. Pau will host the 2019 ECA Senior Canoe Slalom European Championships between 30th May and 2nd June 2019.
France will host another European Championships in July. The 2019 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships will be organised in Decize between 25th and 28th July 2019.
Canoe sprinters in junior and U23 categories will fight for European Champion titles between 11th and 14th July. This championships will be in Račice, Czech Republic, at a venue which hosted the 2017 Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships.
Canoe Slalom Junior and U23 European Championships will be organised in the same country as last year, but Liptovsky Mikulaš will be a place of this year’s competition. Young canoe slalom paddlers will compete for the medals in Slovakia between 4th and 7th July 2019.
European Dragon Boat Nations and Clubs European Championships will take participants to Moscow, Russia. Championships will begin on 17th July and conclude on 21st July 2019.
The last European Championships of the year will be the 2019 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships. This year it will be organised in Coimbra, Portugal, between 26th August and 1st September.
Traditional ECA Junior Canoe Slalom European Cup series will take young paddlers to Krakow (8-9 June), Valstagna (15-16 June), Solkan (22-23 June), Flattach (25-26 June), Augsburg (29-30 June), Ceske Budejovice (3-4 August) and Bratislava (10-11 August).
Two European Canoe Polo Cups will be organised in 2019. The first tournament will be In Mechelen, Belgium, between 28th and 30th June, while the second one will be organised in Kaniow, Poland, between 19th and 21st July.
European Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series will lead competitors to six locations: Skopje (5-6 April), Osilnica (12-13 April), Augsburg (27-28 April), La Seu d’Urgell (1-2 June), Piateda (6-7 July) and Ceske Budejovice (18 August).
European Junior Wildwater Canoeing European Cup series will consist from classic race in Ticino (25-26 May) and sprint races in Skopje (5-6 April), Osilnica (12-13 April), Piateda (6-7 July) and Ceske Budejovice (17-18 August).
Olympic Hopes Canoe Sprint competition will be in Bratislava (13-15 September), while Olympic Hopes Canoe Slalom will be held Czech Republic (4-6 October).
