Coordination Seminar devoted to preparation of European Youth Olympic Festival was held in Gyor, Hungary on 25 - 27th April. After 12 years sprint canoeing will be one of the Festival sports.

The competition will take place on side arm of Mosoni Duna, young athletes 15 - 16 years old will compete on 200 m and 500 m distances. Due to the limited space the course will have 4 lanes only. Preliminary entries from 34 European countries predicts for interesting competition.
