Finalists of the 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships are known 30.8.2024

After three days of competitions at the 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships in Graz, Austria, we have the finalists in all six medal events. Athletes from Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Great Britain, Poland, Ireland, Norway and Belgium are still in the play to win the European Champion title in their respective events.


Polish kayaker Tomasz Czaplicki was the best in men's kayak senior semifinal on Friday, receiving 1723.33 points, thus he qualified without any problems to the final. Spanish paddler Joaquim Fontane I Maso was second in the semifinal (1625.00 points), and the defending champion Tom Dolle from France was third in the penultimate stage of the competition with 1530.00 points.
 
In women's senior kayak semifinal, British representative and the defending champion Otillie Robinson - Shaw showed the best tricks and concluded the semifinal stage with 1430.00 points. Polish athlete Zofia Tula was second with 885.00 points, while Merle Hauser (GER) picked up 816.67 points.
 
Robinson - Shaw was the best also in women's canoe semifinal with a total of 896.67 points. Her compatriot Rebekah Green was second (475.00 points) and Germany's Lucia Hacker finished Friday's programme in third position (440.00 points).
 
Tom Dolle (FRA) scored the highest points in men's canoe semfinal - 1153.33 points. His teammate Jean-Yves Moustrou was closely behind with 1110.00 points, and Sebastian Kurt Rudolf Nelle (GER) was third (1056.67 points).
 
Local athlete Jonas Kim Hermann (AUT) was the best in men's junior kayak semifinal, finishing the day at the top of the scoreboard with 1260.00 points. German Tim Rees was second (1046.67 points), and French representative Remi Teillerie was third (1026.57 points).
 
Leah Hough from Ireland was the best in the semifinal of women's junior kayak event. The judges gave her 713.33 points for her tricks. Maja Kawczynska from Poland was second with 613.33 points and Aisa Lopez-Arenas from Spain finished third in the semifinal (443.33 points).
 
On Saturday, the 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships will conclude with finals. The day will kick off with men's C1 final at 10:30 CET. Women's canoe final is the next event on the programme (11:05). Men's K1 junior final will start at 13:40, and women's junior K1 final will follow at 14:15. The chase for the senior men's K1 European Champion title will start at 15:00 and the last final of the championships will be women's K1 senior final at 15:35.
