Germany and Great Britain celebrate at the 2018 Flanders Cup 25.6.2018

The 2018 ECA Canoe Polo Cup in Belgium ended with celebration of German and British teams who each took the win in two finals. Germany won in men’s senior final as well as in women’s U21 category and Great Britain celebrated titles in women’s senior and men’s U21 events.


 
The results were quite similar last year when Germany took the wins in men’s senior, men’s U21 and women’s U21 categories. Great Britain won in women’s senior category.
 
Germany faced a strong opponent in men's final where they played against Spanish team. The final score was 8 – 5 in favour of Germany. Representatives of this country were the best in women’s U21 final too after the 4 – 2 win against the team of Great Britain.
 
The remaining two final wins in women’s senior and men’s U21 category went to Great Britain. Women’s team scored twice for a secure 2 – 0 win against Germany, and men’s U21 team scored five goals to win against Switzerland 5 – 3.
 
This was the final event of the 2018 ECA Canoe Polo Cup series. Germany celebrated the wins in overall standings in men’s senior and women’s senior and U21 categories. France was the overall winner of the ECA Cup in men’s U21 category.
