Russian, Romanian and German national teams reached the top podium positions during the third competition day of the 2019 ECA Dragon Boat Nations and Clubs European Championships and European Cup in Moscow, Russia.
There was a new national team that reached the gold medal position after three days of racing at Krylatskoye Olympic regatta course in Moscow. Romanian crew set the best time in men's senior 10-seater 500 metres event to pick up gold medal. Russia was second and Hunagry third in this event.
In women's senior 10-seater 500 metres event German paddlers crossed the finish line with better time than teams from Russia who was second and Armenia in third place.
The remaining nine gold medals in nation's events of the day stayed in Russia. In senior mixed 10-seater 500 metres event host nation celebrated a win in front of teams from France and Germany.
All junior men's, women's and mixed 10-seater 500 metres races had the same final order. Russia won gold medals in all three categories, with Moldova second and Armenia third.
In men's and women's masters 40+ 10-seater 500 metres races Russia picked up gold medal, Germany won silver medal and Hunagry finished third. The same order, first Russia, second Germany and Huganry third, was in 10-seater master 50+ mixed 500 metres category.
In the remaining two events - master 50+ women 10-seater and master 40+ mix 10-seater 500 metres races - Russia won in front of Germany.
On Sunday the competitions will conclude with 500 metres 20-seater races and 2000 metres 10- and 20-seater races.
