The 2018 edition of canoe sprint Olympic Hopes regatta in Poznan, Poland, concluded with 200 metres events and a complete dominance of Hungarian team who topped the medal table with a total of 40 medals (18 gold,15 silver, 7 bronze) won over the three competition days. German athletes won 30 medals in the past three days, while Canada occupied the third place in medal count.
Denmark was fourth in the final medal standings, Czech Republic fifth, Belarus sixth, Portugal seventh, France ninth, Ukraine tenth, Slovakia eleventh, Serbia 12th, Poland 13th, Bulgaria 14th and Lithuania 15th. Hungary was on the top also in the Nations Cup, where all the places in the finals A brought points for the final standings. Germany was second in Nations cup, Belarus third, Czech Republic fifth, Slovakia sixth, Denmark seventh, Poland eighth, Serbia ninth, Ukraine tenth, Great Britain eleventh, Portugal 12th, France 13th, Lithuania 15th, Bulgaria 17th, Latvia 18th, Croatia 20th, while Italy and Sweden shared 21st place.
