ICF's board of directors awarded six World Championships in the upcoming years to European bidders during the meeting in Barcelona.
Here are the championships awarded to European National Federations:
2021 ICF Masters Canoe Slalom World Championships – Krakow, Poland
2021 ICF Stand up paddling World Championships – Balatonfured, Hungary
2024 ICF non-Olympic Canoe Sprint World Championships – Minsk, Belarus
2024 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships – Plovdiv, Bulgaria
2024 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships – Liptovsky Mikulaš, Slovakia
2024 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships – Metković, Croatia
