The 2024 ECA Canoe Sprint, Paracanoe and Stand Up Paddling European Championships included also the Intellectual Impairment (II) Demonstration Races to its programme.

For the first time at the European Championships, the athletes with intellectual disabilities were given exceptional opportunity to showcase their talents, demonstrate courage, experience joy and sportsmanship. Not only their participation enhanced the overall championships but also promoted the values of inclusivity, diversity and unity within European and global paddling community.
