International Congress of Canoeing Coaches in Spain is back

International Congress of Canoeing Coaches in Spain is back 3.6.2022

After a pause caused by the pandemic the international congress of canoeing coaches, organised in Spain, is returning this fall. The eight edition of congress for sprint canoeing, second edition for canoe slalom and the first edition of canoe polo congress will take place between 28th and 30th October in Pontevedra, Spain.


The congress will feature many exciting speakers, from Spain and abroad. In the canoe sprint part of the congress the participants will be able to listen to Hannah Brown, Tim Brabants, Katalin Szilardi, Miguel Garcia, Helio - Lucas Fernades Araujo, Beatriz Branquinho Gomes, Stephen Seiler, Dr. Vicente Javier Clemente Suárez, Fernando Alacid, Manuel Matzka, Fernando Oliva, Daniela Capra, Alberto García Bataller, Ana Burgos Acuña and Jesús Ramos Campo.
 
In the second edition of the congress, dedicated to canoe slalom, the following speakers are expected: Xabier Etxaniz, Nick Perry, Telmo Olazabal, Christian Käding, Júlia Cuchí and Iñaki Gómez.
 
For the first time canoe polo found its place in the congress too. Bjork, Jorge Blasco, Laura Salmerón and Johan Driessen are those who will share their knowledge and experiences to all interested in canoe polo.
 
The congress will also have a special guest speaker – Thomas Konietzko, the new president of the International Canoe Federation.
