Invitation – ECA Open Senior Canoe Slalom European Cup in Tacen 24.7.2020

The only race in the 2020 ECA Open Senior Canoe Slalom European Cup series is expected to be organised in Ljubljana – Tacen on 15th and 16th August 2020.


On Saturday the race, which will also serve as selection race for Slovenian national team, will start at 10:00 with heats and the finals will follow at 13:00. The second race of the weekend is scheduled for Sunday, also starting at 10:00 and with finals at 13:00.

 

COMPETITION FORMAT: Two independent races, one each day.

Heats: everyone.

Finals:

MK1 – 30 racers or 1/3 of all competitors, not less then15

WK1 – 20 racers or 1/3 of all competitors, not less then10

MC1 – 20 racers or 1/3 of all competitors, not less then10

WC1 – 15 racers or 1/3 of all competitors, not less then10

The competition will be organised under special requirements and protocols to protect all athletes, coaches, staff and others who will attend the competition in order to prevent any health risks.
 
 
Considering the Covid-19 situation organisers reserve the right to cancel the competition. All decisions about the organisation are subject to the actual health situation in Europe and recommendations of the World Health Organisation and the Host Country Government.
 
 
Entry to Slovenia is free for all the residents of countries on the green list, while residents of countries on yellow and red list require mandatory 14 day quarantine.

Red list*: Qatar, Bahrain, Chile, Kuwait, Peru, Armenia, Djibouti, Oman, Brazil, Panama, Belarus, Singapore, Sweden, Maldives, São Tomé and Príncipe, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Republic of Moldova, Gibraltar, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Gabon, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, South Africa, Iran, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Portugal, Albania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, China, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Honduras, Israel, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, Columbia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Virgin Islands of the United States, Kyrgyzstan, Argentina, Seychelles, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Eswatini, and Suriname.
