The traditional International President Cup 2025 Regatta will be held between 28th April and 3rd May 2025 in Mingachevir and Sugovushan, Azerbaijan. The President Cup 2025 regatta will feature canoe sprint and rowing events, and is officially held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation.

Each team can participate with four athletes and one coach. All athletes must have a passport and permit from the doctor. The first competition day is scheduled for 30th April when the 200 metres races will be held in Sugovushan.

 

Event Programme:

28th April 2025 – Arrival of teams (Baku or Ganja airport)

29th April 2025 – Arrival of Teams (latest early morning), opening ceremony and Team leaders meeting (Mingachevir)

30th April 2025 – 1 st competition day

- K1, C1 – 200m (Sugovushan)

1st May 2025 – 2 nd competition day

- all categories and disciplines (Mingachevir)

2nd May 2025 – 3 rd competition day

- all categories and disciplines (Mingachevir)

3 rd May 2025 – Departure of teams

 

 

Kayak:

Athletes (boys):

2007-2008 – 200m, 500m, 1000 m

2009-2010 – 200m, 500m, 1000 m

2011-2012 – 200m, 500 m

- Competition type: Personal – Team Championship

- Boat classes: K1, K2

- Competition rules: ICF rules

Each athlete is allowed to participate in 3 distances.

 

Canoe:

Athletes (boys):

2008-2009 – 200m, 500m, 1000 m (2010 is allowed to attend)

- Competition type: Personal – Team Championship

- Boat classes: C1

- Competition rules: ICF rules

Each athlete is allowed to participate in 3 distances.
