The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation will once again host the President cup 2024 in Mingachevir and Sugovushan. The sporting event will take place between 29th April and 5th May 2024.

The 'President Cup 2024' is a professional international canoeing and rowing regatta and this year it will include the opening ceremony of a new base of Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation in Fuzuli (optional). The sporting event will be held between 29th April and 5th May 2024 in Mingachevir, Sugovushan and Füzuli, Azerbaijan. The 'President Cup 2024' Regatta is officially held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation.

 

 

Event Programme:

29th April 2024 – Arrival of teams (Baku or Ganja airport)

30th April 2024 – Opening ceremony and Team leaders meeting (Mingachevir)

1st May 2024 – K1, C1 – 200 m (Sugovushan)

2nd May 2024 – All categories and disciplines (Mingachevir)

3rd May 2024 – Finals of all categories and disciplines (Mingachevir)

4th May 2024 – Opening ceremony of new base in Fuzuli (optional) or departure of teams

5th May 2024 – Departure of teams (optional)

 

 

Kayak and canoe:

Athletes:

born 2006-2007 – 200, 500, 1000 m

born 2008-2009 – 200, 500, 1000 m

born 2010-2011 – 200, 500 m

- Competition type: Personal – team championship

- Boat classes: K1, K2, C1

- Competition rules: ICF rules

Each athlete is allowed to participate in 3 distances.

Team composition:

Each team can participate with 4 athletes + 1 coach. All athletes must have a passport and

permit from the doctor
