In the last three years the Dutch canoe slalom team made a big jump forward, qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and finishing 7th in the K1 Women's final. In 2022 there were three finals in Women K1 major events: 7th at the Worlds, 4th at the Europeans and 5th at the World Cup Final.

Cooperation/combination with other countries is a possibility under specific conditions.

This coach:

• has a clear vision how to lead the athletes as a team towards the above goals.
• has the sport-technical skills and competences to support the individual athlete depending their personal situation and needs.
• needs to be positive, empowering, open and collaborative. Flexible and appreciative of different learning approaches, excellent communication skills, and professional attitude.
• has a strong ability to identify small gaps in performance and articulate clear plans to address them through a quality plan-do-review process
• be able to effectively utilize and cooperate with a team of experts (S&C, fysiotherapist, nutritionist, sports doctor, performance behavior)

Conditions and salary will be market based depending on knowledge, experience and track record. Initial contract period: January 2023 - October 2024.
