Following the amazing season 2021, when Laura Sugar MBE became Paralympic Champion in Tokyo and KL3 World Champion just two weeks later, Sugar showed her dominant form in 2022 as well, achieving the ‘Grand Slam’ of titles.

 

Laura first returned to the water for the World Championships in Halifax, Canada, where she retained her World title with World’s best time. 

 

Just two weeks later, Laura picked up another gold medal at European Championships in Munich, posting a new European record time and securing her ‘Grand Slam’ of titles, holding Paralympic, World and European within 12 months.
