Move for Solidarity in Munich

Move for Solidarity in Munich 13.4.2022

The European Championships Munich 2022 has a special project for April which is specifically intended for refugee children and teenagers from Ukraine, as well as from other areas, who have arrived in Munich.

The LOC will organise a "MOVE FOR SOLIDARITY DAY" in Munich’s Olympiapark on Sunday 24 April to give them the opportunity to escape from everyday life for a few hours through a variety of sporting activities and to inform themselves about regular sporting activities.

On Sunday, 24 April, the "Move For Solidarity Day" will take place from 10 am to 4 pm in Munich's Olympiapark. On site, clubs, associations and other organisations will offer an integrative sports programme to try out yourself. In addition, there will be a stage programme with various musicians and bands.

You can also support them by donating delicious muffins on this day.

Do you still have balls, jumping, throwing or skill games or stuffed animals (new or washed) at home that you no longer need? Then gift them your sports donation on 24 April. Your donation will be passed on to children and young people.

Even beyond the sports festival, they will be collecting your sporting donations and stuffed animals (new or washed) throughout the month of April in the eighth Count & Last project. Hand them in directly to them or send them to LOC European Championships Munich 2022 (Spiridon-Louis-Ring 22, 80809 Munich).
