In Racice, the European Canoe Association has taken a significant step forward by integrating Video Judging for Course Umpires (ITOs) directly into the official Timing and Scoring services. In addition, an extra camera feed was also available for the TV broadcaster, enhancing both the judging process and the broadcast coverage.
Following positive feedback from coaches, ECA is now making all race footage available to anyone interested in reviewing the races from this unique perspective. This new service, provided once again by Memosoft, enables in-depth performance analysis of each athlete and can be synchronised with GPS data collected by teams, unlocking a wide range of analytical possibilities.
This innovation marks a major advancement in how championships are reviewed and studied from both technical and coaching standpoints. It reflects ECA’s ongoing commitment to integrating new technologies and services to support the development of sport.
