Pau will host the first ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race of the season

Pau will host the first ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race of the season 1.2.2023

France will welcome the first ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race of the season 2023 when canoe slalom athletes will test their form in Pau. The race is scheduled for 18th and 19th March.


The races at nine different venues will mostly be the ICF Canoe Slalom World Ranking races, but will at the same time also count for the ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race series.
 
The first two races will be on the programme already in March, when Pau (18th and 19th) and Spain’s La Seu d’Urgell (25th and 26th) will bein the spotlight of slalom community. The third race of the season will be in April, when Ljubljana – Tacen will organise the European Cup on 22nd and 23rd April. On the same dates the race in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia, will be organised.
The next competition will be in Krakow, on 13th and 14st May. Later, on 27th and 28th, the sixth race of the season will be held in Merano, Italy.
 
In June, a new venue will be introduced – a course in Epinal, France. This race will be organised between 23rd and 25th June. On 29th and 30th July the European Cup will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, while the series will conclude in Bratislava, Slovakia, on 5th and 6th August.
