Schedule set for National Federation Workshops

Schedule set for National Federation Workshops 7.4.2022

European Championships Management is launching a series of National Federation Workshops across Europe in May, promoting the multi-sport European Championships in several countries ahead of the second edition of the event in Munich in August.

In-person workshops are planned to involve the National Federations of the nine participating sports and the respective Rights-Holding Broadcaster in countries including France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Zoom workshops are planned in countries including the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.

Based on the event philosophy that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’, the workshops will discuss ways in which the National Federations can work together to promote Munich 2022 with the support of the broadcasters, ECM, and the Local Organising Committee.  The benefits of cross-promotion between the sports was a key contributor to the success of the inaugural event in 2018.  The workshop will introduce Munich 2022 and its sports programme, medals, mascot, and winning nation trophy, outlining the event’s communication strategy, including assets available for use by National Federations, discussing athlete engagement, expected medals, and ticket information. ECM will also look ahead to the third edition of the multi-sport European Championships in 2026.

Any National Federations interested in taking part in the workshops should contact ECM at info@europeanchampionships.com.
