The 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom Junior race series started today on the Soča River in Solkan, Slovenia. The first two events of the series in the year 2017 attracted almost 400 athletes from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Great Britain, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Hungary and United States of America. Six nations won medals during the first competition day. 

These are the names of the athletes who won the medals on Saturday in K1M U16, K1M U18, K1W U16, K1W U18, C1M U16, C1M U18, C1W U16, C1W U18 categories of the ECA Junior Cup:

In the C2 mix U18 category only two crews started, while in C2M U16 and C2M U18 categories there was only one boat per category. Also younger athletes in the U14 category started in Solkan, but this category only counts as slalom cup event and not ECA Junior Cup event. Find all the results below:
