Spain hosts the second ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race of the season 15.3.2025

After Pau, the Pyrenees Cup canoe slalom series now moved to Spain, where the second race is on the programme this weekend. The event in La Seu d’Urgell also counts as the second ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race of the season 2025 and as a ICF Canoe Slalom World Ranking race.


Top-level athletes from more than 20 countries are on the startlist of the ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race on the 1992 Olympic course in La Seu d’Urgell. In addition to all the best paddlers from Spain, there will be representatives of Andorra, Slovenia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Netherlands, Latvia, Sweden, Portugal, Great Britain, Austria, North Macedonia, Croatia, Norway Canada, Australia, Japan and Senegal.
 
The impressive participants list include Olympic Games medallists, with World and European Championships medallists: Maialen Chourraut, Pau Echaniz, Miquel Trave, Ziga Lin Hočevar, Luka Bozic, Eva Alina Hocevar, Martin Dougoud, David Llorente, Mario Leitner, Felix Oschamutz, Viktoriia Us, Xabier Ferrazzi, Marta Bertoncelli, Emanuela Luknarova, Liam Jegou and many more.
