The 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup will conclude in Llangollen

This Saturday will bring the last race of the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series. The final race of the season will be held in Wales, more precisely on the River Dee.

This will be the sixth venue to host the 2024 edition of the ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series, the second in Great Britain. The previous races this year were held in St. Laurent Blangy, Fulda, Holme Pierrepoint – Nottingham, Salza and Banja Luka.

The competition weekend in Great Britain will bring the final national races of the British ranking series in 2024, and Saturday’s sprint will also count as the ECA Wildwater Sprint Cup final race. On Sunday, the athletes will compete in classic.

The sprint race will be held on a 300 metres long course on the River Dee and will start on Saturday afternoon.
