Glas Srpske announced the best athletes of the year in Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the 68^th time. Two kayakers of the Vrbas Canoe Club from Banja Luka, organizer of international canoeing competitions, were among the best.

This year the best Bosnian kayaker Dusan Mackic again found himself among the best top 10 athletes, he was seventh in the polling. This is his second consecutive top 10 placement in the awards ceremony. Young hope Aljosa Travar, also from Canoe Club Vrbas, was named among the most promising athletes of the Republic of Srpska, which gives hope the results will come for the young kayaker.
