Venues of the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series are known 15.11.2023

The year 2023 is slowly waving goodbye and the competition calendar for the season 2024 is taking its shape. The dates and the venues of the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series have now been confirmed and released.


The races under the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup umbrella will lead competitors to five different European countries. Majority of the venues will make a debut as the home of the ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race series.
 
The 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup will kick off in March when the races will be held in Saint-Laurent-Blangy (France) and in Fulda (Germany). Then the series will move to Great Britain and the home of British Canoeing in Nottingham. Later in April, Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) will host the race on a well-known venue in wildwater canoeing community. The end of may will bring a race on Salza, Wildalpen in Austria, and the last of the series will once again visit Great Britain, this time River Dee, Llangollen.
 
Like in the previous seasons the series will be held for senior and junior paddlers in women’s and men’s K1, C1 and C2. The best four results of all will be taken into account in the race series ranking.

6-7 April | Holme Pierreport/Nottingham, Great Britain

20-21 April | Vrbas/Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina

22-25 May | Salza/Wildalpen, Austria/Germany

23-24 November | River Dee/Llangollen, Great Britain
