The 2025 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup series has already begun with a race in Fulda, and German organizers will prepare another event on 17th May, when Diekirch in Luxemburg will welcome the best Wildwater paddlers.

European Canoeing mourns the passing of Halina Pikula at the age of 71. A passionate sports enthusiast, Pikula served for many years as an ECA Board member. She was also the Secretary General of the Polish Canoe Federation from 1983 to 2009.

The new Vice-President is Moira Aston, and the newly elected members of the Board of Directors are Greg Smale, Stien Verlinden, Vitor Felix, Peter Karai, and Christian Jacobsen.
