Athletes from 15 countries took part in the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race series which lead them to six different venues in five European countries. Majority of the overall winners come from Great Britain, while the other winners come from Croatia, North Macedonia and France.

The sixth and last ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race of the season 2024 was held this past weekend in Llangollen, Great Britain. Athletes from six European countries took part in the competition and the wins went to Czechia, Great Britain and France.

Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, traditionally hosts the TIP training camps in the picturesque Matka Canoyn ahead of their traditional international canoe slalom race IKAS, which celebrated its 55^th edition this April.

Nearly 200 delegates took part in this year’s ICF Congress which was held in Antalya, Turkiye. German Thomas Konietzko Konietzko has been re-elected as President of the International Canoe Federation, while several European representatives took important roles within the ICF.
