One of the most demanding wildwater canoeing venues will host an ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race this weekend. The event will be especially important for the Czech athletes, as it will also serve as a selection race for the national team ahead of the European Championships.

Krakow hosted the Krakow Mayor’s Cup today, which served as the fourth race in this year's ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series. All the victories remained in the hands of Polish athletes.

The Krakow Mayor’s Cup race will be held this Friday on the famous Kolna venue which hosted numerous editions of the European Championships, Junior World Championships and World Cups. The race will count as the forth in this year’s ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series.

The Labe Arena in Račice is set to welcome Europe’s top athletes in canoe sprint and paracanoeing. From 19 to 22 June, competitors from across the continent will gather in Račice at the ECA European Championships for the third time in history.
