Last medals at Canoe Marathon European Championships for France, Hungary and Poland

France celebrated a gold medal in the last event of the 2019 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Decize, France. Quentin Urban and Jeremy Candy were the strongest in men's K2 race. Renata Csay and Zsofia Czellai-Voros from Hungary won European Champion title in women's K2 and Mateusz Zuchora - Mateusz Borgiel from Poland were the best in men's C2 race.

Third competition day in France brought third consecutive European champion title for Liudmyla Babak in women's C1, second consecutive title for Manuel Campos in men's C1, second title of this championships for Mads Pedersen in men's K1 and gold medal for Vanda Kiszli in women's K1 race.

First sets of medals in Decize awarded

The 2019 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Decize started with women's K1 and men's C1 and K1 junior events as well as short races. In extremely hot weather France celebrated double win in men's K1 short race thanks to Cyrille Carre and Jeremy Candy. Hungary also opened this championships successfully with four gold medals.
