The 2019 ICF Wildwater Sprint Canoeing World Championships in La Seu d’Urgell ended with a big celebration of French national team. Out of 30 medals that were awarded at the championships they have won 12 medals, five of them gold. Czech Republic picked up ten medals.

The 2019 ECA Junior Wildwater Canoeing European Cup race series lead young competitors to North Macedonia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy and Czech Republic. At the end of the season paddlers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Slovenia and Czech Republic celebrated the overall standing titles.

Croatian domination in 2019 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup

The 2019 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race series has ended with a big celebration of Croatian national team, which took six medals in the overall standings of the series. Luka Obadić won in men's canoe overall standings, Alba Zoe Grzin was the best in women's canoe standings and Obadic - Tolic took the win in men's C2. Valentina Dreier from Austria was the best in women's kayak and Ljubomir Spasikj from North Macedonia in men's kayak.

In Česke Budejovice wins in wildwater sprint went to the hands of Czech, French and Slovak paddlers. Competitors from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Great Britain, France, Australia, Austria, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in the competition.
