He was competitor, winning bronze medal in SS1 men's event and gold medal in non-official SS2 mixed event, as well as ECA's technical delegate for ocean racing. Ocean Racing European Championships in Spain ends with non-official events

The 2018 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships in Spain ended with the non-official events - Mixed SS2, OC1 and masters events in women's and men's categories. French and Spanish athletes again dominated the race day, with paddlers from Germany, Sweden and Czech Republic joining them on the podium.

Esteban Medina Ojeda and Angie Leroux are the 2018 Ocean Racing European Champions

Spanish coastal town Villajoyosa hosts this year's edition of the ECA Ocean Racing European Championships. Around 180 competitors from ten European countries are gathered on the Costa Blanca and the first competition day brought races in SS1 Junior, U23 and Senior categories. The start of the race was in Villajoyosa and finish in Altea, a little over 20 kilometres away.
