International Canoe Federation (ICF) has officially published the list of allocated canoe slalom quotas for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games following the World Championships in Lee Valley this September.

The 2024 canoeing Olympic Venue in Vaires-sur-Marne in the outskirts of Paris hosted the last major international canoe slalom competition of the season 2023 – Canoe Slalom World Cup final. European paddlers once more showed they are the ones to watch.

Around 200 young canoe slalom paddlers from seven European countries took part in the 2023 Canoe Slalom Olympic Hopes competition in Roudnice nad Labem. Czech paddlers took advantage of their home course and won majority of podium positions, with athletes from Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania also winning the top three positions.

Roudnice nad Labem, Czech Republic, host the 2023 edition of the Canoe Slalom Olympic Hopes this weekend. Young paddlers from Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are taking part in the competition and on the first day majority of the medals were won by Czech representatives. Paddlers took part in two runs and the best score of the two runs counted for the final result.
