On the third competition day of the 2022 ECA Junior and U23 Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, young athletes competed in classic events. Members of Czech and French teams again dominated the races. Gold medals also went to Italy, Germany and Great Britain.

The three nations that are usually dominating the wildwater sprint canoeing competitions, again showed power on the first medals day at the 2022 ECA Junior and U23 Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. France and Czech Republic took majority of the titles, Slovenia won two gold medals and Italy one.

Mezzana hosted the two races in the 2022 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup and the competitions attracted athletes from Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France, Serbia, North Macedonia, Great Britain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Australia. Paddlers from Italy, France, Switzerland and Czech Republic recorded the wins in Italy.
