Canoeing season 2019 is well underway. The 2019 ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships has just concluded, and we are already ahead of the 2019 ECA Paracanoe European Championships which will be held in Poznan, Poland, this Tuesday and Wednesday.

It has been confirmed that the 2019 ECA Paracanoe European Championships will take place on 21st and 22nd May 2019 in Poznan, Poland. The organisation of this European Championships has been awarded to the Polish Canoe Federation in the same week as the regatta course in Poznan will host the Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup race.

Great news for paracanoe athletes and fans. Even though it seemed that the 2019 ECA Paracanoe European Championships will be run as a part of the World Cup, it has finally been negotiated and confirmed that Poznan will host a separate European Championships in the same week. The dates of the 2019 ECA Paracanoe European Championships in Poland are 21 and 22 May 2019.

The season 2018 was fantastic for Swedish parakayaker Helene Ripa. She first picked up a gold medal at European Championships and later added another title to her collection at World Championships. Successful sportswoman now wishes to win a medal at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
