Ljubljana is ready for the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships

30/05/2017 - Only one day is left until the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen (SLO) which will start with an opening ceremony in the city centre of Slovenian capital in front of the town hall this Wednesday, 31st May 2017. The races will be organised in the suburb of Ljubljana on the Sava River from Thursday to Sunday. Athletes from 23 European countries will participate in this year’s edition of the ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships.

Floods brought concern to the organisers of the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Tacen

08/05/2017 - Heavy rain in the last days of April caused a lot of concern among the organisers of the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen. The course and venue were flooded and after the water level dropped it became clear that a lot of work that has already been put into the preparation of the European Championships over the last months has been washed away.

International Judge Canoe Slalom (IJCSL) training and assessment in Ljubljana - Tacen

We would like to inform you that the 2017 International Judge Canoe Slalom (IJCSL) training and assessment will be held in Ljubljana – Tacen, Slovenia, during the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships. The training and assessment will be organised between 1 – 3 June with an aim to improve Judge's skills and certification for international competitions.
